At The Evaluation Editing Group, our mission is to ensure forensic and clinical evaluations are clear, accurate, and court-ready. We provide meticulous editing, structural refinement, and expert guidance to help professionals communicate findings with confidence, precision, and integrity.

Why EEG Stands Apart

The Evaluation Editing Group is founded and led by a forensic psychologist—so your work is reviewed through a clinical and forensic lens, not a generic proofreading lens. Our trained review team brings psychological expertise to every report, strengthening clarity, internal consistency, professional tone, and defensibility while preserving your clinical judgment and ultimate opinions. Every project follows standardized EEG editing protocols with built-in quality assurance oversight, ensuring your final product is polished, reliable, and court-ready.

Our Services

  • Best for: evaluators who want a final human pass before submission without outsourcing conceptual edits.

Human QA is more than spellcheck. This tier provides a professional “second set of eyes” to catch the issues automated tools often miss—especially in high-stakes, court-facing writing.

    Includes:

    • grammar, spelling, punctuation, and professional polish

    • readability improvements and sentence tightening

    • formatting cleanup (headings, spacing, consistency)

    • internal consistency sweep (names, dates, diagnoses, pronouns, test labels)

    • tone calibration for neutrality and professionalism

Ideal for: final polish, addenda/letters, and reports you feel confident about clinically but want to present cleanly and consistently.

    Pricing:
    $95 base + $10 per page (minimum $145)

  • Best for: forensic evaluations or any report likely to be scrutinized in legal settings.

This is EEG’s flagship service—designed to make your report read as clearly and defensibly as your work actually is. We improve the structure, reasoning clarity, and written defensibility while keeping your ultimate opinions intact.

Includes everything in Human QA, plus:

    • organization and flow improvements (section structure + transitions)

    • deeper internal consistency checks across the full report

    • tightening the reasoning chain (data → interpretation → conclusions)

    • defensibility-focused language refinement (without changing opinions)

    • cross-examination vulnerability flags and recommended phrasing

    • clarity and neutrality enhancements for high-conflict or sensitive cases

Ideal for: custody/parental fitness, CST/NGRI, risk evaluations, contested matters, or any report you want “court-ready.”

    Pricing:
    $245 base + $18 per page (minimum $325)

  • Best for: evaluators who bill hourly and want defensibility feedback without outsourcing editing.

Defensibility Snapshot™ is a targeted forensic-informed review of your report’s highest-risk areas—delivered as a concise memo you can implement while keeping your own writing/editing time billable.

    Includes:

    • a prioritized 1–2 page feedback memo identifying top defensibility risks

    • cross-examination vulnerability flags (what may be challenged and why)

    • recommended wording changes + structural suggestions

    • optional light highlights/comments in the report (no full tracked-change edit)

Ideal for: “I want a second set of eyes before I submit” or “I’m preparing for testimony and want to reduce vulnerabilities.”
